I replaced the disambiguation page with a stub that hopefully can evolve into an intro to the language(s). My thought is that this approach is more helpful to users and acknowledges the unity and diversity of Dagaare.--A12n 17:08, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Implosives[edit]

In its consonant inventory, this article says that Dagaare has three implosives, but doesn't provide any information on their articulation or distribution despite how exceptionally unusual these sounds are. The following thread at Reddit indicates that this issue calls for our attention, especially because implosives that aren't stops are nearly or fully unattested. External Sources[edit]

In this article, there is an included web link in the External Sources section, the webpage of which cites/references a link to this Wikipedia article as "Information about the dagaare language". The article itself was written by an academic with a 'BA in Chinese and Japanese, and [have] an MA in Linguistics'. I don't see any particular reason why the author or article wouldn't be considered authoritative about the topic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pthoma25 (talkcontribs) 15:26, 29 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Phonological graphs on Dagaare[edit]

According to my research I have done, based on the Ali M, Grimm S, Ali M (2021). A dictionary and grammatical sketch of Dagaare, it is observable that there are some discrepancies in the recently updated graph. While I do believe the research I have done, is correct, please look into this source. TramTrimTrom (talk) 15:51, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
