Dîner en Blanc International made a correction and an addition to this page:
[edit]
  1. Changed the fact “spanning 5 continents” to “spanning 6 continents" (branched out into South America in 2016!)
  2. Added the Company Info Box at the top right corner of the page, with facts, stats, and a picture (instead of the stand-alone picture that was previously there)
Dîner en Blanc International wants to suggest the following edits / topics for expansion:[edit]
  • Contributors should try to emphasize the international nature of the company. So far, the editors mostly appear to be Australian. The event takes place in many, many other countries and continents, including Australia.
  • Consider moving this page to a new page with a different title: “Le Dîner en Blanc”. The French article “Le” is important, as it qualifies the “French” nature of the event. It is advisable to use it, when applicable, throughout the article and in section titles.
  • For this same above reason, also try to standardize the circumflex (î) in the company name.
  • Consider adding a section called “Le Dîner en Blanc International Today.” There’s a big difference between the original Paris event and the now international company (established in 2012).
  • Consider building a table at the bottom of this article to list all participating cities (+70).
  • Consider adding any/all of the following Wikipedia tags and categories to the end of the page – Culture and the arts: Food Culture, Food and drink, Popular culture, Traditions, Parties; Geography and places: Cities
