Number of genera[edit]

The article says there are 108 genera, but at the same time, it lists 109 genera? Ivo (talk) 16:47, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Toxorhynchites: Subfamily of Culicinae or a genus of Toxorhynchitinae[edit]

It is well-known in the scientific community that Toxorhynchitinae is a major subfamily of Culicidae. Yet it's still under the subfamily Culicinae. I've recently edited the subfamilies of the mosquito wiki, but I'm yet to be sure if I should also edit the Toxorhynchites page. Proffypaul (talk) 16:10, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
