definition[edit]

This article defines a cruciform tail as one having the horizontal stabilizer above the fuselage. The empennage of the Dornier Do 335 is usually described as cruciform tail despite that its horizontal components emerged from the fuselage, not the vertical tail. 165.91.65.24 (talk) 01:53, 5 April 2009 (UTC)RKH[reply]

I agree on the Do 335, and what about missiles and the X-15, etc, with stabs below the fuselage as well? Those are called "cruciform" as well..45Colt 00:02, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Larger list[edit]

I recently noticed that the Cessna Citation II has a cruciform tail. Should a larger list be added to the Wikipedia page? ElToAn123 (talk) 03:04, 25 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This article used to have a very long list that was reduced to just a few representative examples in February 2021. So, no, it would not be helpful to start turning it back into a huge list again.
