I noticed this article makes no reference to Crocs' lawsuits and design/patent ruling losses in Canada & Europe. The article mentions that Crocs was based on a Canadian company (Finproject) product - the reason they lost their patent and design claims in court was that Finproject also supplied many other sellers, including Holey Soles, with the same product prior to the acquisition by Western Brands/Crocs, and that the patents were files AFTER acquisition. The result is that the design and construction were not considered novel since they were in the market prior to the patent. There are quite a few articles in other news sources and law journals referring to these cases and the intellectual property claims - this wiki article seems a bit biased for leaving those important issues out - isn't it reasonable to think this too affected the the value of Crocs' stockprice?
