page name[edit]

This isn't what "critical lens" means. this page should be named critical lens essay. the critical lens is a figurative term for the way someone experiences a work--looking through the critical lens, one would place a value judgment on the piece. when writing a critical lens essay, you place a value judgment on a famous quotation, and then back up your idea with examples from books.--24.44.68.157 (talk) 01:28, 20 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
