Neutrality

Clearly the whole article is a piece of anti-Russian propaganda - with dubious statements such as allegations about murder of a traitor Litvinenko (that is sure be done by his terrorist accomplices) —Preceding unsigned comment added by RussianTrooper (talkcontribs) 16:07, 21 September 2010 (UTC)

Yes you are right this article, especially the section about Russia is very biased. Tunesia under Ben Ali was really dominated by the Counterintelligence the regime of Ben Ali would be a better and a correct example.--141.19.228.15 (talk) 09:10, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

Globalise

Another Biophys Conspiracies Limited production which deals with only the USSR and Russia, with no attempt to portray a world wide view of the subject, and how MANY countries are regarded as a counterintelligence state, including the US. It needs to represent a global view rather than the BCL view only. --Russavia Dialogue 02:14, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

So far I found only sources about Soviet Union, Russia and Iraq. If you find anything about other countries, please include it here.Biophys (talk) 02:19, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

i thought the usa was the only cointel state. all this stuff about the soviets, russia, and iraq is pure propaganda. as far as sources go, lets not forget how many foundations are funded by the u.s. cointel state. just because you pay someone big bucks to write reports at some name brand university does not make these reports legit. the ivy leagues, and oxbridge all receive heavy funding from the financial oligarchs, so their analysis is going to reflect that. i think the usa is the only country capable of carrying out cointel on a massive scale with a black budget, they can do almost anything — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cybercomand (talkcontribs) 08:28, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

The only accepted instance of America functioning on a small scale as an intelligence state was during the McCarthy hearings. However, all of the evidence that I found suggested that he bullied people for information. I am unsure if this would be enough to qualify it as an intelligence state. If people think so I can write up a short section on McCarthy Era America. http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/MRC/murrowmccarthy.html Kingfishersfire (talk) 01:54, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
Edward Snowden showed us that the USA is a Counterintelligence state.--Aitor Bernhardus (talk) 15:32, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
