Changes in Oxygen Demand[edit]

"The majority of vasculature in the body constricts in response to norepinephrine, a sympathetic neurotransmitter that the body uses to increase blood pressure. In the coronary circulation, however, norepinephrine vasoconstriction, due to the predominance of beta-adrenergic receptors in the coronary circulation."

The second sentence seems to be missing a verb somewhere. Context implies some sort of contrast with the previous sentence, but I'm far too ignorant to fix the sentence myself. Spameroo (talk) 22:43, 27 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Coronary arteries/veins[edit]

This article needs a diagram of all the coronary arteries and veins as well as common pahtologies that afflict them (and which branches are most commonly affected eg."the widowmaker"). Also, on the links to the gray's diagrams there are lists of arteries but none of the coronary ones are mentioned.

!!!! It says that the coronary arteries supply gas to the heart.... as i havent died of an air embolus yet im glad this isnt so so im deleting it...

Coronary Flow[edit]

This entire section needs references from cardiology or critical care sources.

On heart and source reliability[edit]

Coronary circulation refers to the blood supply within the heart - which works hardest of all, supplying nourishment to all parts of the body. So next time you're working hard say: "Hey thanks heart, you're the best!" and remember kids, wikipedia is an unreliable source that lets randoms like me type anything they want and then call it information!! However, that stuff about coronary circulation is true. But don't use wikipedia, you will lose marks!! Well...that's the end of that chapter. Goodnight to all, and to all...a good night. Hah! New image from Blausen[edit]

Hi all, I recently helped to upload a donation of 20 heart-related illustrations by Blausen Medical (see commons:Category:Images from Blausen Medical Communications). I've been inserting them into articles. The image to the right below seem particularly suited for this article, but it already has many images so I wasn't sure where to put it. Deleted nonsense[edit]

I removed most of the second paragraph of the section "Changes in Oxygen Demand". The key sentence in that paragraph has no verb, and as a consequence no meaning can be extracted from it.
