Merge?[edit]

It seems to me that the Curragh and the Coracle are similar enough for the articles to be merged. User:Dumbo1

Definitely not! The Curragh is seagoing,and rowed with two oars per man; the Corwg is used in Fresh Waters and sculled, with one oar, one man! Both are ancient, highly adapted crafts, and each deserves its own listing.User:sionnyn

Similar craft[edit]

There are saucer-shaped fishing skiffs, usually powered with an electric outboard motor, that resemble coracles. This doesn't make any sense[edit]

Each river has its own design, tailored to the flow of the river.

Channel crossing[edit]
