Images clutter article?

It looks like there are entirely too many images in this article, going well beyond an established screenshot inclusion standard for Wikipedia, not to mention being redundant in that they feature the same characters, just in different outfits at times. Anyone care to weed through some of them and keep what is only necessary? 65.145.213.126 07:19, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Merge the video games here?

Those article are short and lack this article's referencing. Could make this more comprehensive, to talk about the merchandising. CanadianCaesar Et tu, Brute? 22:37, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Discussion pertaining to non-free image(s) used in article

A cleanup page has been created for WP:FILMS' spotlight articles. One element that is being checked in ensuring the quality of the articles is the non-free images. Currently, one or more non-free images being used in this article are under discussion to determine if they should be removed from the article for not complying with non-free and fair use requirements. Please comment at the corresponding section within the image cleanup listing. Before contributing the discussion, please first read WP:FILMNFI concerning non-free images. Ideally the discussions pertaining to the spotlight articles will be concluded by the end of June, so please comment soon to ensure there is clear consensus. --Happy editing! Orignal script

Does anyone know, where to find the original script?--Baruch ben Alexander - ☠☢☣ 13:33, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Trailers

Do I recall trailers far in advance of the premiere of the movie? My recollection is that each trailer was completely different than the last. At the time, conventional wisdom was that the technology was taking a long time and the trailers were produced to maintain interest, but from the article it appears that the script may have been changing between trailers. What is not apparent from the article is a sense that it took a long time for the movie to come out. Is that a mis-memory on my part? Fotoguzzi (talk) 03:28, 1 July 2012 (UTC)

Cult status

Some people like to throw around words like they don't mean anything, and add phrases like cult classic or cult status to old film articles, and that recently happened to this article too.[1] I removed the claim from the intro as there was nothing whatsoever in the article to support it.[2]

If there is any evidence to suggest that the film has developed a following, cult or otherwise, it would be good to add retrospective reviews to the Critical response section, but claims should not be added to the intro until after they have been properly established in the main article body. -- 109.78.202.99 (talk) 22:17, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
