Meaning of cool change[edit]

The phrase "cool change" is "A term used in south eastern Australia for the arrival of a cold front in the afternoon or evening after a day of high summertime temperatures". Cool-change definitions 98.149.97.245 (talk) 04:36, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That's not the perspective of the song. The singer is reflecting that his life has become so planned and hectic, yet he longs to spend time alone on the "cool" ocean. WWGB (talk) 04:43, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

So then one may view the song's perspective as different from the phrase's definition, or the writer as creating a new meaning for the phrase - if you like, a cool change. After all, Little River Band originated in Melbourne, also in south eastern Australia.98.149.97.245 (talk) 05:41, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
