The accompanying figure is not clear[edit]
If we have not read any literature on CSLDV, we probably needs to figure out hard from the figure showing laser beam spread all over the fan blade -- is it rotating or static or snapshot ? But more importantly, the picture shows one specialization of CLSDV that is CTSLDV -- continuous tracking SLDV. It involves some tracking mechanism (or synchronization with the fan speed) which is needed for CSLDV for dealing with rotating structure. But in simpler form, say vibrating cantilever, CSLDV can be simply scanning and acquisition at the same time. I propose to change the figure with a suitable one when I have time.
