Correction[edit]

I have removed the following because prima facie Caesar's parents would have been married by confarreatio as he was Flamen Dialis:

Likewise, Julius Caesar married Cornelia by confarreatio, but neither had patrician mothers, and Caesar's parents had not married by confarreatio'

If anybody has a source for this then it's worth re-including Catobonus (talk) 19:49, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
