I realize there are citation issues[edit]

College class - Making edits[edit]

I'm part of a group in a college class, and we're going to make some major edits to this article. Firstly, we're going to clean up the article as is: fixing grammatical errors, filling content gaps, etc. We're also going to add content regarding the technological situations in other countries, as the current focus is largely the United States. Finally, we're expanding upon the positive and negative implications of computers in the classroom. If you have any suggestions, complaints, or other comments, feel free to contact me. College Class - Working on Sources[edit]

I have found a new source titled "Computers in the classroom." The content of the article relates directly to the context that is inscribed within the text. There are given facts and sources from where that information was found and there are reliable direct links to redirect you to other topics within this article. I would say that mostly overall, the article has a neutral view of standpoint however, it only talks about the good that technology has brought to the classroom, and barely touches on the idea of negative computer uses in the classroom. Every claim does have a citation however, they are spaced apart very far and I am unsure if there is more information that needs to be cited more frequently. Some of the citations are reliable but there are about half of the sources that are cited, but there is no link bringing you to the correct original source. The writer took notice to his citation flaws and will fix them ASAP as soon as he figures out how to use the citation templates. Ineffective use paragraph[edit]

Unreliable Source[edit]

"In 1975, Apple Inc. began donating Apple 1 model computers to schools, and mainframes began to lose their former dominance over academic research."

Apple Inc (formerly Apple Computer) was not founded until April 1 1976, and the Apple 1 was not released until April 11. I believe the year is off by one, assuming this statement refers to the unit donated to the LO*OP center in 1976.
