Spelling[edit]

Anulus is the correct spelling for the Latin word for ring, "annulus" is a variant only found outside of Latin, not vice versa. I found this word in Smith's English-Latin Dictionary. I didn't find any entry for "annulus."

There are actually SEVEN extraocular muscles ....
