Administrative Offense vs. contravention[edit]

Legal topics must operate in strictly legal terms. Various countries have their own definitions of the concept. Wikipedia (including interwiki) is a poorly referenced mess in this respect. - Altenmann >talk 21:49, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In particular in fr-wp it is said that fr:Contravention is subject to fr:Droit pénal (Criminal law while russian ru:Административное правонарушение is not criminal. - Altenmann >talk 23:15, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
