He along with Janet and son Tom are buried in Mawnan churchyard, (13th century Church of St Mawnan and St Stephen), overlooking the Helford River in Cornwall. The grave is hard to find but the names are quite clearly marked when found. 78.144.234.33 (talk) 20:57, 19 May 2015 (UTC) I remembered how I found this out and subsequently visited grave. It's mentioned in West Country Cruising Companion: A Yachtsman's Pilot and Cruising Guide to Ports and Harbours from Portland Bill... by Mark Fishwick. Have not found ISBN yet. 78.144.234.33 (talk) 21:03, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

publications[edit]

Stephens mentions this book as an influence, along with sailing magazines of the 1920s and 1930s (in Rousmaniere ed. Offshore Yachts, 1987, p. 45). 64.228.209.137 (talk) 20:25, 27 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
