Clans[edit]

The explaination of What ? a clan is can be found on the 'Scottish clan' page both Lowland and Highland, this page is for info on the Scottish clan which was Clan Kincaid. mjgm84

Facts[edit]

The Kincaid Family originated ALL-OVER Europe. It is generally believed that the Kincaid Family was founded byu Sir William Galbraith, who was granted the lands of Kincaid by King Robert thr Bruce upon William's marriage to an unknown Princess, whom was the daughter of John Comyn III, the "Black Comyn." MOST Genealogists agree that this occured, since that is what the documentation support leads to. This unknown Princess was a descendant of Emperor Charlemagne as well as various rulers of Scotland, including David I of Scotland.

I believe that this information should be merged into the article. I just wanted to get comment before I do so. I will add th information in three (3) days. Thank you! Rbkl 01:25, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Upon viewing of Mr. Gregg Kincaid's youtube channel, it appears that there is little evidence of him possessing any fame. Therefore, I suggest that the last section of the 18th century portion of the article be removed, as it was merely based on personal reasons, and not actual proof of fame. Article re-write[edit]

The article has been tagged since 2011 as not being of quality standards. Much of the article is unsourced. Also, Scottish clan articles should not include a list of notable people who bear the surname unless they are directly connected to the clan. There is also no clan info box. I therefore intend to re-write with sources.QuintusPetillius (talk) 15:02, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
