Undefined references[edit]

Jayanthkumar123 I see you've recently created this article. It has about a dozen undefined referencing errors. Do you have a plan for cleaning them up? -- Mikeblas (talk) 21:57, 27 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Actually it was created as a separate article from the main article. So, I will work on it. Jayanthkumar123 (talk) 05:35, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Great! LMK if you need a hand. -- Mikeblas (talk) 14:20, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No improvement seen after about a month, so I either removed the undefined references (where other references existed) or replaced them with reference maintenance tags. I'm concerned that the quality of this article is poor because of the overly detailed descriptions, significant reliance on first-person quotes, and referencing issues. -- Mikeblas (talk) 18:53, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Non-primary sources?[edit]

@DaxServer What do you mean by 'non-primary sources' tag that you have so liberally added? For influences section, the content is from his interviews to third-party sources. It's not cited from his blog posts or from his social media handles? How else are you gonna get a non-primary source for that unless he reveals it in an interview by himself?!! Reo kwon (talk) 16:09, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Reo kwon: Secondary sources need to discuss about him and his style. That’s how you get a non-primary source. Not sure if you already know this.. interviews are primary sources — DaxServer (mobile) (t · m · c) 20:18, 6 February 2023 (UTC) — DaxServer (mobile) (t · m · c) 20:18, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am not talking about style. I am referring to his influences and his favourite films. You have added 'primary sources' tag for them too. How does one get the subject's favourite films or influences without him revealing that in an interview? Get it? Reo kwon (talk) 05:19, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed the tags where applicable — DaxServer (t · m · c) 09:35, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Failed verification[edit]

@DaxServer I've added non-primary sources for most of the tags. However, I am not clear about some of the failed verification tags. For example, in Collaborators section, Senthil Kumar, S. Ravinder have been tagged as failed verification. The films in which they collaborated with Rajamouli can be found in the sources cited. For some roles like line producer, publicity manager credits are verified from the movie credits and IMDB. There may not be non-primary sources referring to these credits. Can direct movie credits (from Youtube etc) be added to verify the collaboration claims in those sentences? Reo kwon (talk) 21:35, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the sources @Reo kwon. I've rechecked the failed sources tags and two of them are good, I don't know why I tagged them. Sorry about the oversight. Regarding the last question, perhaps ask at WT:ICTF so others could give better advice? — DaxServer (t · m · c) 12:00, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Thank you. Reo kwon (talk) 17:29, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
