Development of article

I am first going to clean this article up and will get some information (not simply translate) from the corresponding French page, which has more detail. Little in this article is cited, so will then try to get some more specifics, especially on the development of Algerian cinema. Although I have worked on Algerian history, I am not an expert on this topic (especially the contemporary aspects), so would very much appreciate any additional input or corrections. In addition, I am looking through other articles on national cinema to get some ideas for the further development of this article.
