facts that don't appear in cited sources; what to do?[edit]

For the sentence pasted below in italics, I looked at the source material. The source text did not mention anything about a university being built. Can we delete text if it isn't supported by the citation? Or is there a way to contact the person who made the page, maybe see if they can provide more sources?

A number of related government agencies are located there, and plans have been made to establish a university specializing in biotechnology research
