Generations[edit]

Is there a source, that calls 1951-1959 cars the second generation?.. How can such different cars, as 1951 (which were essentially based upon 1949 design), 1955 (revolutionary Forward Look) and 1957 (Forward Look phase II) be regarded as one generation?.. By the way, the first generation was in fact two different models: 1941 (with its direct postwar incarnation) and 1949, with 4-in longer wheelbase and changed body style. The 1960 model would be therefore not the 3rd generation, but rather the 5th. Pibwl ←« 12:39, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
