Joke[edit]

This article is a joke right?

No. why would it be?

Because it's written like gossip column. The subject is worthy, the tone needs work.Cbradshaw 22:44, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
from looking at earlier versions, there was some vandalism. I repaired and added some additional information.Cbradshaw 00:59, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplaces don't match up between articles and box. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.126.250.119 (talk) 19:30, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I did a Google search for Christopher Atkins and the Wikipedia article came up first. Normally Wikipedia articles give a good synopsis of a subject. I found this article really lacking insight, facts and a feel for the person both personally and professionally. All the subsequent articles I read about him on the net give a more rounded and realistic insight into the person, his early life, his career, his personal life. I hope anyone who reads this article realizes its crap and keeps on digging for better information. Totally dropped the ball here Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.199.26.77 (talk) 03:47, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The link to The Hard Ride is inconsistent with the information on the page of The Hard Ride. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.235.108.41 (talk) 18:01, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Golden Razzies[edit]

This actor has won a Golden Raspberry award twice, and although this recognition has been on the article before, it was removed with the dubious arguments that the recognition is libelous, and that the Golden Raspberry is not a 'real' award. I have added the information back to the page. Praxidike (talk) 22:41, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is this mentioned in other articles of people who have been "won" this? SamanthaG (talk) 12:23, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life section augmentation[edit]

I added the bit about Atkins's enthusiasm for nudism after that was reported in a special issue of People magazine publishing updates of former child stars. As it is a special issue, it doesn't have a specific date listed on its cover or in its masthead, but it is designated to remain on newsstands until October 2, 2014. The article doesn't specify how he manifests this interest. Someone earlier removed this item, apparently as supposed vandalization of the entry, but I didn't make it up--it's right there in that special issue of People.
