Frank's War[edit]

Anon removes it on the grounds that it is by a different author. While this appears plausible given that Frank's War appears to be non-science fiction [1] and published in the US, it appears on on-line catalogs under "our" Chris Boucher. I have no hits for Chris P. Boucher and Frank's War on Google. Can someone confirm this as simply a case of mistaken identity? --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 01:13, 20 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

There is currently an Article for Deletion process underway regarding the author of the Frank's War, one Chris P. Boucher. The AFD appears to be moving towards deleting this other Boucher's article on the grounds of non-notability, however I think it's worth noting that these are two different writers. Therefore I added a line to this effect. The discussion can be found at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chris P. Boucher. The anon appears to be Chris P. Boucher himself. 23skidoo 03:14, 20 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Work for ABC in Australia[edit]

Did not Mr Boucher work with the Australian Broadcasting Corportion back around 1972/3? I seem to recall meeting and recording some material with him at their studio in Forbes Street, Darlinghurst. I believe he was a producer for the ABC Radio's 'Young World' program. Bluedawe 22:47, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Strong support the basketball player gets 12,215 compared to only 389 for the writer[[2]], if anything the basketball player should be primary but a DAB page probably makes sense at least for now. Crouch, Swale (talk) 11:46, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support and move basketball player to base name.--Ortizesp (talk) 19:22, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Last surviving Doctor Who writer pre-1980[edit]

Chris Boucher is now the last surviving Doctor Who scriptwriter from prior to the 1980s/John Nathan Turner era (Season 18 onward) since the deaths of Henry Lincoln and Bob Baker. Romomusicfan (talk) 10:27, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
