New Jersey "Disco Fries"?[edit]

I lived in New Jersey for close to two decades and never in my life heard of "Disco Fries" on any menu in any restaurant, bar or diner (or discotheque for that matter). Source of this alleged name?

"Disco Fries" HAVE to have gravy on them, usually they are also waffle fries.

Snuffer's in Dallas.[edit]

Snuffer's in Dallas invented the cheese fries in 1978. A plate of fries with melted cheddar cheese, topped with scallions, jalapenos, and bacon bits, and a side of ranch dressing for dipping. Pizza (Cheese/Italian) Fries[edit]

Central Wisconsin Style Pizza fries should have its own separate article due to the fact that they have nothing to do with french fries. "Cheese Fries" (the Portesi brand name) are pizza dough with garlic butter topped with mozzarella cheese cut into strips and served with pizza sauce made popular in Central Wisconsin by Portesi's retail package in the frozen pizza section of retail grocery stores and throughout most of Wisconsin in school lunch programs.

Nacho Fries[edit]

A quick Google search confirms that they aren't the only ones to have thought of it, but Saturn Cafe, a vegetarian restaurant in Santa Cruz and Berkeley, California, carries 'nacho fries' which in their case means fries (you can get thick or thin ones) buried in cheese, black beans, jalapeño slices, salsa fresca, sour cream and guacamole. They also have a vegan option, which used to mean no cheese, no sour cream, but soy spread instead, but they've since started carrying vegan cheese so they probably use it now. Nacho fries in general should probably be in the article, given that there seem to be a good many people who make them. I might add it tomorrow if I have the time.
