As far as the active shooting and capture is concerned, those may have been merely for the goldened-crowned parakeet, which was formerly considered to be a separate subspecies instead of a separate species. I will have to look into it more. Cynops2 15:25, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know that the pictured bird was drawn while in captivity.
