Businessman[edit]

First and foremost, Charles L. Pack was a businessman of some note. Philately may have been a passion, but not his primary notable activity. As is, this article is very much a 'stub' of this man's life. Need for considerable expansion... DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 15:04, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, anybody around who can determine if the Charles Lathrop Pack Experimental and Demonstration Forest is somehow linked to Charles Lathrop Pack? Thank you for your time. Lotje (talk) 07:05, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Lotje: - "Charles also gave Yale ninety-four acres of forest adjacent to Yale’s experimental forest, located near Keene, New Hampshire" - see https://archive.org/details/charleslathroppa00eyle/page/205/mode/1up (borrowable) Shyamal (talk) 11:01, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Shyamal for the information. That would also mean the insectary field laboratory set up by Robert L. Furniss at the Pack Forest could be related too. Interesting to find out . Cheers. Lotje (talk) 11:44, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

More on business, less on Philately[edit]

We need this article to better cover Pack's business interests, and less focus on philately.John Pack Lambert (talk) 15:34, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
