As trend within Chabad[edit]

The cultural phenomenon of Chabad hipsters is more of a trend within the Chabad community than one within the hipster community. These Chabad hipsters are more properly Chabad members adopting hipster culture than hipsters adopting chabad culture. it is doubtful that the chabad hipsters are recognized by as hipsters proper. For this reason the article should also have some more information on the general acculturation of orthodox (see S. Heilman and S.M. Cohen's cosmopolitans and parochials).
