Self-endorsement[edit]

The book has been described as "one of the most outstanding textbooks of medicine ever written".[3] references Cecil's itself. A book should not be able to endorse itself. Jtopf (talk) 19:07, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Book title change[edit]

It should be mentioned that until its 24th edition it was only called Cecil Medicine. It was only on the 25th edition (released on April 25th, I believe), that they changed it to Goldman-Cecil, much to my dislike, since this is only the second edition in which Goldman is an editor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.133.84.50 (talk) 03:03, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
