Feedback for BChristie on WGST 3991 article proposal[edit]

Excellent choice of topic. Her portrayal in a historical novel adds extra interest to the article.

One of the sources in your reference list probably does not meet the Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources criteria. The website genealogiequebec.info appears to be a self-published source. However, it is very well referenced. You can find the original source, the Dictionnaire généalogique des familles canadiennes at Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ). Interpreting genealogical information is outside my expertise. One of the other MTA librarians can help you if you have questions about that source. Estregger 19:42, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

Peer Edits WGST 3991[edit]

Great article!

You may want to consider adding a lead section. Your section headings are not formatted quite like other typical Wikipedia articles, maybe look at how other articles format their headings. Adding an infobox on the side could add to the aesthetic of the page.

Clarify if Jérémie was the first female naturalist recorded in Canada, or in the entire world, it's not quite clear how it is worded right now. Clarify what happened to her first husband - did he die? Did they get a divorce? Did she have multiple husbands at once? Veronika is concerned.

When you list all her siblings, you don't need to say proceeded since you already said she's the oldest. Also maybe instead of listing them all, you could put them in the infobox, if you choose to use that.

"She studied these medicinal plant uses and further discovered many remedies", clarify what you mean by "these".

Aside from that, great work! :D — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kforrestall (talkcontribs) 17:23, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
