Friendly ping about this prod to User:BOZ, User:Guinness323, User:Daranios. My BEFORE did not help but maybe you can figure out something better than hard deletion here? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:31, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Piotrus: Thanks for the ping. Interesting, never heard of that one before. A brief BEFORE search did not amount to much, but it is mentioned at Ed Greenwood, verfied by Shannon Applecline's Designers & Dragons, as well as, for what it's worth, a brief note by this magazine, p. 10. So presumably not notable in its own right, but I think it should be redirected to Ed Greenwood in the spirit of WP:ATD, with perhaps merge of a very brief summary based on the primary source. (Like that it's post-apokalyptic fantasy, to give context at that target withot disturbing the flow of that paragraph.) Daranios (talk) 15:13, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I have no familiarity with it either. Redirecting per Daranios seems preferable to an AfD. Jclemens (talk) 06:15, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Daranios. Thanks. I see you deprodded this without redirecting. Do you prefer AFD or can this be boldy redirected? And is Ed Greenwood a better target than Dungeons & Dragons campaign settings (I guess, since the latter doesn't mention this, but his biography at least does so in passing...)? Also pings to other folks who may be interested in this (I dislike stealthy deletions/blankings): @Rorshacma @Susmuffin @QuicoleJR. I plan on boldly redirecting this unless this is improved (or unless someone objects) in the foreseeable future (days...). Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:53, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Piotrus: At this point I have not objection against a redirect, but did want to wait for input by others, having our discussion here instead of an AFD. I assume it is not mentioned at Dungeons & Dragons campaign settings because it was not published by TSR/Wizards of the Coast. With regard to notability, there might still be reviews out there, but I am bad at finding those. So if someone would see those, situation could change in the future. It did get some discussion here: [1] and a mention here: [2] and short preview here: [3] BOZ (talk) 17:23, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Do you or @Guinness323 think this can be salvaged? Given the terrible state of this I think redirecting for now is best, no prejudice to this being restored with proper sources later. Do either of you oppose me boldly redirecting this for now? We could go to AfD but I think it would be pointless - the current article is TNTable, and if we are unlucky AfD would be closed with hard delete which nobody wants I think. Redirect to Ed Greenwood: If the list is only for the companies that have owned Dungeons & Dragons, the article on the creator of the campaign setting is the logical redirect target. ―Susmuffin Talk 10:43, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
