Merge Mazanderani cusisine to Iranian cuisine

  • Support Google search brings "0" results for this term on the topic of this article. The food in mazandaran is a classical iranian dish and the article should be moved in to main article --Rayis 22:04, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Strong Oppose It is the cuisine of tabarian people, You all have not significant credit to citing references for you all, Since you removed the books, whenever you don't want to having It, Please don't do it from such actions, Thank you, Also your works gived me strong evidence to taking legal action against you to Sysops, --Ali 14:41, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
Comment: I found a link to a book I will add here [1] about Tabarian and Mazanderani people - it mentioned there are similarities in culture and language to nearby Guilan (Gilan Province). Also mentioned on Tabaristan WP article. Jooojay (talk) 21:06, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
  • Weak support Nothing much in the article at present to explain why this is so different to Iranian cuisine. But in principle I can imagine that the areas bordering the Caspian will eat differently to the rest of Iran, so I can imagine that there could be enough to justify a separate article if suitable references were provided. Most references are in persian, Unfortunately the dishes of Mazandarani not significantly studied, So, many of people confuse it with iranian dishes in the rest of iran, Such as this. --Ali 03:28, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Strong Oppose – The spelling of this article title is spelled differently then many citations in American English - "Mazanderani cuisine" versus "Mazandarani cuisine", there seems to be sources for this article, I added a few today. This is a specific ethnic group and they have specific cuisine, I would like to see this considered and developed more here. Jooojay (talk) 06:33, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
Comment: this conversation thread was also featured on the Iranian cuisine talk page too. Jooojay (talk) 21:43, 15 April 2018 (UTC)

Gilani cuisine, Golestani cuisine plus Mazandarani cuisine or "Caspian cuisine"

I was wondering if it would make sense if this article was about Caspian Cuisine or Northern Iranian Cuisine and it specifically focused only on Mazandarani, Golestani and Gilani cuisine? There seems to be a lot of overlap in terms of crops, history and specific dishes, and currently there is no article for Gilani cuisine. I think as long as there was a section distinguishing these two cuisines from each other, it could work. Anyone else have thoughts?
