– The current primary topic Wainwright is a poorly written stub article that shouldn't be the primary topic, given the large number of people and places with this name. Ditto for Cartwright, which is currently a primary redirect to said article. Per WP:NOPRIMARY, the disambiguation page should be at the base title for both. 162 etc. (talk) 20:31, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nomination. The four-sentence stub for "Wainwright" certainly does not delineate a subject of such great primacy that "Cartwright" should redirect to it. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 03:09, 30 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom.--Ortizesp (talk) 22:45, 30 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support the occupation appears to get the most views of things called just "Wainwright"[[1]] but not overwhelming especially when you take into account the building getting more. To me in England the walking meaning would be primary and that's what comes up mainly in Google but that's probably partly due to my location. The Canadian place gets a compareable number of views[[2]] to the occupation. Crouch, Swale (talk) 08:41, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support all per nom. The words are archaic (for that matter, the occupation is archaic), and the use as a name is more common. User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 01:33, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
