Renaming not needed[edit]

I think that renaming the page to include this subtitle was unnecessary - several of the Carry Ons have these subtitles which appear in the credits but clearly aren't intended to be part of the title of the film. Valeria was a vampire? etc.[edit]

Anyone like to justify the statements that Valeria was a vampire, and that Oddbod was part werewolf?

Valeria doesn't bite anyone or show fangs. (Is there some one-liner I've missed that hints otherwise?)

Oddbod is some sort of prehistoric pre-man ("from 500 years ago") that Watt has 're-animated'. 84.13.127.202 20:34, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Correct title[edit]

I have corrected the title to include the exclamation mark. Also, can anyone verify whether 'on' in the title is capitalised as some sources list the film as 'Carry On Screaming!' and others list it as 'Carry on Screaming!'. Count de Ville 03:04, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Certificate[edit]

Carry on Screaming is now a 'PG' certificate film. I think it was certified much higher originally (perhaps 15 or even 18?), there is the obvious horror theme and I think some brief nudity is in the film (probably shot with a body suit). After carefully looking at the film poster it appears that the film was classified as an 'A'. From History of British film certificates 'A' in 1966 was an adult film - quite different to PG rating now. That would explain the lack of showing this film on TV in the 1970's and 80's - does anyone know if / when it was re-rated? 2ghoti (talk) 14:26, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The cinema film has never been resubmitted and is still "A", the videos (which came later) are "PG". "A" meant children under 16 admitted if accompanied by an adult. I remember the film on TV in the 1970s, so it was shown then. BBFC certificates do not apply to TV of course. Kjhskj75 (talk) 14:41, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Doctor Who[edit]

Exclamation mark?[edit]

Are we sure the exclamation mark in the title is correct? Original posters available as images online omit it, as does the original trailer. The BFI and imdb sites include it. Jean-de-Nivelle (talk) 21:59, 2 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
