SMILES[edit]

I could be wrong, but I believe the SMILES string for this compound is incorrect. When I paste into MarvinSketch, the double bond is within the steroid core, rather than within the lactone. Cheers, OrganicReactions (talk) 01:28, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I tried it too with ACDLabs' software - the two SMILES codes present in the article refer to two different compounds. To be honest I think the actual drawn structure might be incorrect as it has a hydrogen in the position #14 instead of a hydroxyl group as all the linked derivatives do. I wanted to find the correct structure using Reaxys, but Cardenolide was linked to three more or less different structures. Good luck.
