Is the thickness really referred to as "points" that at 1 mil each? That sounds very confusing since points in typography are 1/72 of an inch, so it takes 13 and 8/9 of these "points" to add up to one typography point.

Response. That is correct cardstock is referred to in points which are thousandths of an inch also know as mils. Also, I just added the conversion tables but thought someone might want to go in and make then a little prettier...65.123.48.22 (talk) 22:50, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is non-profit links commercial spam? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.141.211.116 (talk) 21:55, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was parhaps a bit fast to call the linked site commercial, but I cannot see that the link is of important relevance for the subject. Wikipedia is not a collection of links. Langbein Rise (talk) 07:32, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, Okay. I just thought that this page could use an external reference, but I look for a better one that is more relevant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.141.211.116 (talk) 16:03, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
