Expansion of article[edit]

I am working on expanding this article to cover several types of vests/capes/jackets worn by Working dogs. (This article will not include all attire worn by dogs, especially pets, and eventually I might request that the article get renamed to Working dog attire with redirects to it from Cape (dog) and other harness- and vest-related terms.) In the days to come, I will be adding text content and citations in each section. The images I chose should give you an idea of where I'm going with this article. If anyone wishes to contribute, go ahead and add content in the appropriate section. You're also welcome to add URLs below if you think they would be helpful to the article and you don't wish to add accompanying content at this time. I concur with your direction and possible move of this article to a more-comprehensive name. The article had already commenced covering harnesses, which is outside the scope of the title. William Harris (talk) 00:15, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, "capes" are most often used on puppies and young dogs in training for work in order to get them used to wearing "something" across their backs and to alert observers that a dog is in official training. They are a subset of working dog vests/jackets. There isn't enough content to cover just capes. A brief search of Wikipedia disclosed that there was no article covering this particular topic (the broader topic). Normal Op (talk) 00:34, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
