Why does an article like this need sources? Flagging such a basic article, with entirely non-inflammatory statements ("However, canned responses to customer complaints may make the customer even more dissatisfied." It's a perfectly reasonable statement that does not require previously published support to give it credibility.) is just a waste of the community resources. It distracts from articles that genuinely need support. I am not the author of the article, I'm just a frequent reader who gets annoyed with the unnecessary, liberal flagging of articles by editors who could be spending their time actually researching articles and providing relevant references or editing with appropriate counterpoints with supporting references. (Which makes their counter-arguments more credible.) 75.162.202.226 (talk) 05:04, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All content in articles should cite reliable sources so that it can be verified. That is Wikipedia's policy. --Joshua Issac (talk) 19:15, 27 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
