BancorpSouth overdraft fee settlement[edit]

BancorpSouth settled on 24 million dollars in a class action lawsuit that accused the bank of unfair overdraft fee practices, in particular ordering transactions to where the highest dollar charges would go through first and cause customers to have to pay additional overdraft fees.

Plans for page after merger?[edit]

With BancorpSouth announcing plans to purchase Cadence Bank and later rename the combined bank to "Cadence Bancorp" and operate under the Cadence Bank name, should we keep both pages or combine them and use one

If keeping both, I suppose BancorpSouth would be the page for the holding company while Cadence Bank will remain the subsidiary bank's page.

If combining, should we use Cadence Bank as the combined page since that's the resulting name, or use this one since it's the purchaser despite the name going to Cadence? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ParaguaneroSwag (talk • contribs) 17:57, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I moved this page to Cadence Bank and the old Cadence Bank to [[Cadence Bank (2009–2021), per my message here. Graham87 11:04, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
