Criticism

In COVID-19_pandemic_in_Vietnam#Criticism:

South Korean nationals are also reportedly screened due to the rampant outbreak of COVID-19 in South Korea, which has extensive trade relationship with Vietnam.

Not sure what the criticism here is, maybe someone can make an edit to clarify or move it to the correct section. Pieceofmetalwork (talk) 16:05, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

Done, move to xenophobia section. Nguyen QuocTrung (talk) 16:49, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

WikiProject COVID-19

I've created WikiProject COVID-19 as a temporary or permanent WikiProject and invite editors to use this space for discussing ways to improve coverage of the ongoing 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. Please bring your ideas to the project/talk page. Stay safe, --Another Believer (Talk) 17:32, 15 March 2020 (UTC)

New Image

Hey, I've just got this new picture. HERE. This is a board that shows Ministry of Health's 10 precautions for individuals. I think it may fit somewhere in the article. 14 07:51, 28 April 2020 (UTC)

Sorry for late reply but I don’t think the image suitable in this article. This is English Wikipedia so most of people can’t understand Vietnamese. Nguyen QuocTrung (talk) 17:16, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

Apparently the virus has been contained

Hello, Wikipedians. Al Jazeera has published an article stating all patients have either been cured or contained. I will be adding it to the article, but if anyone else has any further understanding of the virus or if any more news crops up, please fix my edits. puggo (talk) 11:44, 1 March 2020 (UTC)

Anyone know why there is no dead in Vietnam from covid 19 Husam Arab (talk) 19:58, 10 April 2020 (UTC)

Who knows? This is not a forum, ask your question on Reddit or Twitter. Nguyen QuocTrung (talk) 00:56, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
Strict containment from the first days so hospitals won't be flooded so 100% of efforts can be used to cure the serious cases. Sgnpkd (talk) 21:02, 7 June 2020 (UTC)

Use countries template

I figured out that looking at the statistics with nationalities without flag is kinda hard. Should i add countries template such as

United States Contiball (talk) 15:13, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
Actually, some contributors don’t want the table contains any flags. Nguyen QuocTrung (talk) 16:00, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

strain

The word strain is used several times in the article D614G - is that the strain referred to as in https://medicalxpress.com/news/2020-07-infectious-strain-covid-dominates-global.html- this is unclear. Not just here but through out wikipedia. Should be clarified. Also it is claimed it is a more transmissible and deadly strain as part of a second wave. This should also be better referenced. Second wave only in Vietnam or more widely? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.115.204.102 (talk) 00:56, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

On 4 August, Vietnam Ministry of Health confirmed that the new strain in Da Nang is D614G. I will update the article. Nguyen QuocTrung (talk) 14:25, 14 August 2020 (UTC)

Split

The Timeline section is too long and will be even longer in the future. Can we consider split it under Timeline of the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam?Westfan (talk) 05:54, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
