King's Troop Photo[edit]

It is so low-resolution as to be useless. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.145.42.19 (talk) 21:21, 4 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the best one!

And this,

Explains that, the colours are by some authority considered incorrect, which shouldn't matter even if true, as it is consistent with the image currently used on this page.

I'll go on record, to say the dapper looking captain sparking a fag, should be the image used, it conveys the "Flashman" look, while being unpretentious, as though you just walked in this fine English fellow saying to Franz Ferdinand and couple of Serbian Black Hands, "smoke me a kipper, gents, I'm off for a fag, on the outside balcony, I've got my eye out for that fine skirt, in the skimpy dress, with legs that make her look like a tart, that just walked out fresh from a baker's oven, she's that hot!"

Signed - Son of Flashman (the half-African one, not the half-Cantonese one) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.184.24.3 (talk) 12:12, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Relation to Turkoman Busby[edit]

The article says that the Busby originated with the Hungarian hussars, but there must presumably be a link with the Astrakhan Hat, the karakul of Pakistan and the Turkoman headgear. Can anybody join the dots here? Peynirli (talk) 20:14, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
