Dates of Pedwardine occupation of Burton Pedwardine[edit]

[1]

This must therefore be the date with effect from which Alice de Longchamp whilst still not of full age, inherited the manor at Burton from her father Henry de Longchamp. Roger, (Walter's son) is believed to have died 1330 and Alice 1336/7, Her IPM is dated 1337. If the building work on the church commenced 1330 this must be the work of their son Roger (who married Agnes D'arcy). Official documents do not refer to the place as "Burton Pedwardine" until towards the end of the life of Roger junior. 86.139.81.228 (talk) 14:23, 12 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
