Potential for Deletion?[edit]
This is a short and unsourced article, that has existed for 13 years without much improvement. I do not feel like this is encyclopedic content. - @JackFromReedsburg and JackFromReedsburg: As you can see, from the current state of the article, it is no longer an unsourced stub. (I've overhauled it after discovering the paucity of information about this cultural icon, while researching it's peripheral reference in a completely unrelated context). If you have nominated it for Articles for Deletion, please UN-nominate it.
- While the Burlington Liars' Club is usually simply referred to (and known as) "the Liars' Club" it was a popular topic and linguistic touchstone of the 20th Century. Those of younger generations may not recognize it as readily, but its name remains in common use in popular discourse and literature -- as amply documented in the "Cultural impact" section now added to the expanded article.
