Article is unsourced[edit]

This is a very low-quality article. There are three sources cited, two of which are dead links and the third is to a discussion in a web-based forum. We say in wikipedia's voice that the missile has a 'smart' warhead that can 'make it undetectable by sams' - obvious nonsense. I would regard the whole Development section of the article as unsourced. Banality (talk) 20:19, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There seems to be additional eyes on the article, and the questionable claims have been flagged or removed as appropriate. Thanks everyone. Banality (talk) 01:48, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

5 of the links are now dead. Also Reference number 4 links to seemingly bias news site (most of the articles are pro war and pro Yemem). A few minutes on google and I can not find any other sites reporting the fire at Aramco oil refineries in the same way.2A02:C7D:32B4:2100:E15A:602C:2B8F:7095 (talk) 03:45, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Merge Article?[edit]

The news is reporting more missile attacks under the name Burkan-H2 than Volcano 2. It's really another SCUD type missile.  kgrr talk 16:04, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What about older Burkan-1?[edit]

The Burkan-1 was fired from Yemen to Saudi Arabia in July 2017: [[1]]  kgrr talk 16:04, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Since the article is about a missile that doesn't actually exist, it needs to be merged or deleted. Burkan-2 is just a name invented by the Houthis to disguise the fact it is an Iranian Qiam-1 missile. The Qiam-1 missile has its own page already. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kuching7102 (talkcontribs) 01:03, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
