Date built[edit]

The article formerly said the gate was built in 1601, but the Dictionary of Islamic Architecture by Andrew Petersen says here at page 83 that it was built in 1576. As Akbar's initial conquest of Gujarat was in 1572 (See here) and the Imperial complex at Fatehpur Sikri was abandoned in 1585, the 1601 date makes no sense.
