Merge proposal[edit]

Definitely agree that Multi-story building be merged into this article. There's just not enough info right now to justify keeping it as a seperate article. ZueJay (talk) 12:35, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there,

probably not the appropriate place to ask but I'm looking for the oldest still running construction project. It would probably be some stone building or something. I'm wondering if someone started building something in the 1800's and it is still unfinished. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.208.94.75 (talk) 22:30, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Omar Yusuf[edit]

Erm... why is Omar Yusuf being mentioned in the middle of this article? This man is now before the courts in Melbourne for alleged fraud: http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2007/11/01/2078545.htm?site=victoria —Preceding unsigned comment added by Howmuchtheirfeethurt (talkcontribs) 12:59, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A building, or edifice, is a structure with a roof and[1] walls standing more or less permanently in one place, such as a house or factory.[1] Buildings come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and functions, and have been adapted throughout history for a wide number of factors, from building materials available, to weather conditions, land prices, ground conditions, specific uses, and aesthetic reasons. To better understand the term building compare the list of nonbuilding structures.fhc[edit]

Why is there markup code in the article for all to see? Could someone more capable fix this? Drdr150 (talk) 18:29, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I thought my internet or browser was the problem for a second. I’m seeing the same issue you described two days later. SundayGot1 (talk) 02:16, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Page has been fixed, turned out the last user editing this made non-constructive edits and subsequently messing up the page. Edits were reverted and user was warned for his actions. SundayGot1 (talk) 02:59, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
