Notes regarding 2/28/11 revisions[edit]

Upon initial publication, this article was tagged as non-notable and failing according to the criteria on WP:CLUB. The non-notable tag was removed and the following improvements made:

Text for the Modern era section was expanded to include a discussion Club changes, not the least of which was the hiring of notable soccer person Tim Hankinson; text in this section further outlined past Club involvement by another notable soccer person Marcelo Balboa
The Club leadership section was refined
The Other activities section was expanded
Additional References were added; amongst the references were items pertaining to Mssrs. Hankinson and Balboa as well as links to legal documents found on the State of Colorado government website

Future improvements will include:

Expansion of the Early years section including information from interviews with Club founders
Expansion of the Club leadership section
Image library for historic Club logos

Beyond the improvements which call out notable soccer person associations, this organization is notable for it's historic contributions to soccer in Colorado. While not a broadly known national or international organization (which seems to be the chief criteria for meeting WP:CLUB), the organization is certainly notable in the region. Should a "local Wikipedia" emerge, it would be appropriate for this article to migrate to that sort of venue.
