Background[edit]

Why isn't China mentioned? The Representative of the Republic of China signed the Potsdam Declaration, unlike the USSR, and the Japanese Instrument of Surrender after the USA and before the UK, the USSR, etc. Dajanes (talk) 12:11, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback[edit]

Mistake meant to hit undo, the revert was due to grammar errors introduced. Justin talk 22:16, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article Structure[edit]

I think we should split the article into three main sections: Role, History and Structure. This will make it more consistent with other while providing an appendix of where to look. The Structure should at least list the primary units involved, and possibly the next level of sub units. IronBattalion (talk) 23:15, 6 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

G'day, that seems a fair suggestion to me. There is definitely room for expansion with this article. I'd be keen to see what you come up. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 01:48, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sources and History[edit]

Hello, currently I am having difficulty finding sources about BCOF, primarily the British and Indian histories. This also correlates to the history section, which I believe should be extended, as currently this page has only a summary where it should involve most of the important pieces of history during this time period. If anyone can help with this, thanks. IronBattalion (talk) 22:41, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As a comment to this, I have found a pretty stellar source, however, it is an unknown publisher for me. The URL: https://apjjf.org/-Christine-de-Matos/1765/article.html - at a glance it seems nice, but I'm not quite sure... opinions? IronBattalion (talk) 07:52, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
G'day, the author seems to have a PhD, and seems to have been published widely, including in the topic area: [1][2]. I think you would be safe to use this source. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 16:53, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
