Cricket History[edit]

The page states cricket has been played on the green for "over 250 years". I played here yesterday and their pavilion has a plaque celebrating the 200th anniversary of cricket on the green, laid in 1998. I have edited this to "over 200 years", if anyone changes it back could they please state their evidence here, cheers. EJBH (talk) 21:57, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
