Recursive doesn't mean redundant, but that's not really the point. Reciprocal links are common and often are the best solution. As a few examples, Pepsi has a link to Coca-Cola and vice-versa; Kat (disambiguation) has a link to Cat (disambiguation) and vice-versa.
